Orion's Belt is a youth-led organization that aims to foster a global community of astronomy enthusiasts and to encourage a love for space in the upcoming generation. We promote STEM engagement and citizen science by providing our members with educational resources and learning opportunities wherever they are on their journey so that they can aim for the stars.
We learn about space to educate ourselves about our planet and universe. The knowledge we gain from understanding our cosmos can help us understand Earth and its conditions, such as the sustainability of our environment and present-day climate change. With our discoveries, we can apply newly found resources to advance various scientific fields and technologies further. As we challenge the boundaries of what we know, we fuel the curiosity and unity of our generation. Humanity, life, and the future of our world lie in the prospects of space exploration.
As a member of Orion's Belt, you will have access to events and opportunities to help you become the best astronomer you can be. Membership perks include publishing articles with us (with the opportunity to earn volunteer hours), an invitation to our member-only Slack community, and exclusive webinars and resources to help you aim for the stars.
